Hole 1
Best approach shot would be from middle to the right portion of the fairway. Very accessible green which allows for a good start to your round.
Hole 2
Plays every bit of the yardage from each set of tees. The dome-shaped green which makes getting close to the flag on your first shot difficult so Par is a good score here.
Hole 3
Try to keep your drive in the middle to the right portion of the fairway yet again. Between the wind and the false front, very easy to misjudge the distance and come up short on.
Hole 4
Like most holes on the course, the difficulty lies within the greens. And next three holes are no different. Finding the green off of the tee should leave you in a favorable position to make par. But that does depend on the pin placement. Several undulations makes putting tricky with the green mostly breaking toward the No. 5
tee box.
Hole 5
Grip it and Rip it. Longer hitters can reach this green. And then three putt for par. The severe back to front slant of the green tends to shield most approach shots from getting close to the pin and then making a two putt a must.
Hole 6
Left is no good and right of the green isn’t much better. Just know that the wind is usually different on the green than it is on the tee box. And the green slants severely from the back left to the front right.
Hole 7
This Par 4 is the No. 1 Handicap hole on the course and for good reason. Tee shots will be into a valley and all approach shots will be uphill to a green that is very difficult to hold. Another domed-shaped green makes hitting it in regulation a very tough task. And once on the green take notice that the green slants from the back left to the front right.
Hole 8
Time to get some strokes back. Relatively free of trouble. The green is surrounded by a mound on the right and some sand on the front left. The green rolls from back to front.
Hole 9
Another straight forward Par 5. Play for the middle of the fairway and longer hitters can hit the green in two. Be weary of the chute in front of the green, because ending up their might add some unnecessary strokes.
Hole 10
A straight tee shot is definitely needed if you to have a chance at par. Once on the green, it slopes from the back left to the front right.
Hole 11
TThis Par 5 usually plays into a strong headwind which makes it play a little longer. Also the elevated green helps to add some length to the hole. The green is fast but one of the flatter surfaces on the course.
Hole 12
Longest Par 4 on the course and second overall hardest hole. Your approach shot will be uphill to a false front and to a green that slopes from the front to the back. While on the Tee check out the pin location for Hole No. 13.
Hole 13
Most tee shots will find the collection area down in the valley. Second shot is usually blind into the wind and plays every bit of the distance you are out.
Hole 14
A good tee shot is to stay just inside of the right treeline. Mostly likely this will leave you a wedge into a green that is severely sloped from the back left to the bottom right.
Hole 15
Looks like a relatively easy Par 3 but the green and the pin placement makes it play more difficult. Green slants from the back right to the front.
Hole 16
Long and rather tight fairway but the rough is usually pretty forgiving. The dome-shaped small green makes it difficult to get near the pin from your approach shot.
Hole 17
Best play off of the tee is a long iron or hybrid club. The higher elevation makes it easier to get to the 100yd marker with less effort
Hole 18
Good finishing hole with this Par 3 having a three tiered green. Keep your tee shot below the hole or be faced with a tricky down hill putt that may turn into more putts than you want.
